OnePlus much anticipated the 5T is all set to launch on Thursday at an event in New York.
The company has been more than gracious to reveal its availability details of the OnePlus 5T before the actual release. It wasn’t very late before Amazon India confirmed that the OnePlus 5T will be going on sale in the country on November 21 from their trusted online retail partners Amazon. Details are still sketchy if these phones would be available from their experience stores on the D-day i.e 21st November.
The dedicated Amazon listing confirms that the OnePlus 5T will be going on sale in India starting at 4:30pm IST. OnePlus has confirmed that general availability of the OnePlus 5T will commence from November 28 in India. I was afraid that they were going to follow through with their flash sale tactic for a long time.
The upcoming OnePlus 5T is most likely going to phase out the more expensive 128 GB Oneplus 5.
If you are keeping your ears glued to the ground for the buzz then the leaks are pretty clear that its expected to have a bezel-less design to put the company’s flagship up against other premium phones.
OnePlus 5T specifications:
OnePlus 5T is likely to sport a 6-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and it is said to be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at up to 2.45GHz, in 6GB and 8GB RAM configurations coupled with 64GB and 128GB storage respectively. On the camera front, the handset is said to sport a 20-megapixel rear camera coupled with another 16-megapixel sensor, making it a dual camera setup at the back. It is also said to have a 16-megapixel front camera. The core specs seem the same and the differentiating factor comes in the form of a larger 3450mAh battery and a 6-inch display 18:9 aspect ratio near bezel-less display.
The inclusion of out of box Android 8.0 Oreo on the OnePlus 5T is expected to make it an attractive piece of hardware.
